Crazy Creek is proud to be a participant in the 7030 Child Sponsorship Plan. 100% of our employees sponsor children through World Vision. Crescent Ridge Holdings Ltd. is pleased to pay 30% of that sponsorship. More staff come on board April 2009 as new amenities open a brand new hot pool facility (May 2009). We will encourage and enable more employees to participate in the 7030 Child Sponsorship Program.
The Hot Pools of Crazy Creek will be the closest hot pool facility to Salmon Arm, B.C. and a convenient rest stop for those traveling between the Okanagan Valley and the Canadian Rockies. From a steamy seat in the hot pools, or from a deckchair, visitors gaze up at the two-stage waterfalls. There is ample parking for vehicles, buses and motorhomes as well as reception, change room facilities, and a fireside lounge. Crazy Creek Waterfalls and Suspension Bridge is now entering its fifth summer of operation. It has been popular with people of every age, and has been very well received by the European visitors. Whether you have just enough time for a stretch and a coffee, or you want to spend time in awesome natural surroundings, Crazy Creek is a choice place. Boardwalks and stairways ease you into the high mountain wilderness. Near the waterfalls there is an abundance of seating as well as great viewpoints adjacent to the Suspension Bridge entrance. Young and old love to experience the sensation of crossing the Suspension Bridge spanning 240 feet across the canyon in front of the waterfalls as rapids roar through boulders 85 feet below. From the High Mountain Patio amenities it is a four-minute walk back to the parking lots and Hot Pool area.
